《看得见风景的房间》中露西的婚恋观分析

摘    要
 《看得见风景的房间》是二十世纪英国杰出的小说家福斯特早期以意大利文化为背景的小说代表作之一。小说女主角露西通过自己的努力终于冲破传统的束缚，找到了自己的真爱。露西对于爱情婚姻的选择是福斯特自由主义观在此小说中的体现。本文集中研究了露西对恋爱婚姻的认识、转变以及转变的成因。当露西面对代表两种生活方式、两种传统的人时，她表现出两种不同的婚恋观——以理智与地位为导向的传统婚姻观和以爱情与激情为导向的自由婚姻观。本文通过对这两种婚恋观的形成、对比和转变的成因分析，可以看到作者对以婚姻为代表的自由和谐的人际关系做出的种种努力。

ABSTRACT
 A Room with a View, one of E· M· Forster’s early noted works, is created with the background of Italian culture. The heroine Lucy finally breaks through the shackles of tradition to seek her true love through her own efforts. Lucy’s choice towards love and marriage is a deep reflection of Forster’s liberal-humanism. This paper analyses the process, changes and reasons of Lucy’s different views towards love and marriage. When Lucy is confronted with two different men, she represents opposing views of love and marriage. Through this analysis, we could find Forster’s endeavor to search for liberty and harmony in personal relationship.
