The geographical and climatic conditions determine the different flora and fauna in both the United States and China. Yet the flora and the fauna are indispensable in people’s everyday life in both nations. However, because of the profound historical roots and cultures of each nation, the food selection and its preparation become distinctive. This study concludes that the historical roots and the cultures of the United States and China are the main factors that lead the cuisine in both countries to different development. Contents
