Literature Review
Jane Eyre, as one of Charlotte Bronte's representative works, had a wider influence in the English society at that time. The feminist consciousness embodied in Jane Eyre attracted widespread attention at that time and in future generations, and Chinese and foreign scholars also held their own views on feminism in Jane Eyre.
Xiao Wei's Contemporary Feminist Ethics Landscape (2001) points out that contemporary feminist ethics is the product of the women's liberation movement. It aims to criticize the theory of belittling and discriminating against women's ethics and to establish the ethics of equality between men and women. Its main topics are political ethics, ecological ethics, bioethics, moral education and sexual ethics. It holds that contemporary ethics is the product of criticizing "patriarchal women's view" and inheriting "patriarchal women's view". The development of feminist ethics shows two main streams: breaking and establishing, which reflects the purpose of feminist ethics: criticism and construction. The theoretical characteristics of contemporary feminist ethics are summarized as follows: the autonomy of relationship; the atmosphere of situation; the bond between experience and emotion; the pillar of ability and practice; the perspective of diversity and diversity; and the scope of gender analysis. Zhou Zeng's "The Spread and Development of Feminist Literary Criticism in China" (2004) points out that the development of this foreign theory of feminist criticism in China has gone through three stages: introduction, localization and scientificalization. Each stage has its own characteristics. It has undergone a tortuous process from rejection to acceptance, rooting to vigorous development. It is believed that both the accumulation of traditional culture and the standardization of ideology on women after liberation have neglected the principle of self-restraint in women's consciousness social existence and way of life obscured the existence of gender identity and lacked sufficient understanding of gender differences; feminist literary criticism was marginalized in literary and artistic criticism at that time; these three points the reason why feminism appeared quietly in China in the early 1980s. The publication of Western translations and some collections of essays and the enhancement of female writers'awareness of gender writing have played a very good propaganda role in the dissemination and development of feminist literary criticism in China.
Wu Juan's The Progression from Awakening to Regression - Exploration of Female Consciousness in 19th Century British Women's Novels (2010) shows that in the 19th century, Jane Austen, a cross-century novelist, and a group of outstanding female writers, such as Bronte's sisters and George Eliot, have appeared in the literary arena one after another, jointly opening a new chapter of women's creative art in 19th century British novel history. It points out that women, as the second sex and "superfluous ribs", are in a subordinate position with heavy shackles in the history of patriarchal society. From the perspective of "feminine consciousness", this paper discusses the tortuous course of the 19th century British women from awakening to struggle, from going out to returning reflected in the novels of women writers from Austin to George Eliot. They illustrate women's situation with their own experience, express women's voice, examine social reality with women's unique eyes, vividly reflect women's rough fate in the patriarchal society, and profoundly reveal their emotional crisis, moral confusion and rebellious consciousness.
In Charlotte Bronte's Consciousness of Women's Social Subjectivity, Feng Xi points out that Charlotte Bronte's novels reveal the 19th century British social public in the seemingly feminine narrative. A lot of information in public affairs. Charlotte Bronte transforms the external psychosocial and social phenomena into a part of her writing. On the one hand, the novel reflects the social background of British overseas colonization. On the one hand, the novel also pays attention to the social problems in Britain, on the other hand, through property and marriage relations reflect many social problems. It can be seen that Charlotte is trying to break through women's internal constraints and the historical context of patriarchy through her feminine texts and Yin writing, and resist the marginalization of women in the patriarchal society and the neglect of language and consciousness. With the attitude of marginal people approaching the mainstream society, the work undertakes the castration and challenge of rights under the dual historical context, realizing the author's distinct sense of equality and feminist values. Charlotte's novel is a "conspiracy" with the reader in the first person narrative, describing the anxiety and helplessness of the female writer herself.
This paper aims at discussing the richness of feminine consciousness by comparing the rise of the first feminine literary group with significant social shadows in Victorian England and modern China. Complexity attempts to explore the common law of some Chinese and foreign feminine literary creations in the frame of reference of comparative literature. The full text is divided into five parts. The first part is the difficult part of the introduction. The third part is about women and women's speech in Ji Shuo. The third part is about women and women's speech in Ji Shuo. The third part is about women's consciousness and the persistence and expression of women's consciousness in Chinese and foreign female writers'works. The fourth part is about the structure and function mode of women's mentality in China and foreign countries. The concluding part focuses on the differences between Chinese and foreign women's information and consciousness in the macro-system of world literature. Through this horizontal comparison, we try to find a unique perspective to understand and judge women in the depths of women's hearts.
