Abstract:Activated carbon from sewage sludge was made by physical activation. The effects of pH,carbon amount,temperature and adsorption time on the decolorization of alkaline-black waste water and COD removal rate were investigated. The results showed good adsorption capacity of activated carbon from sewage sludge. The values of iodine and methylene blue were 254.36 mg/g and 20.26 mg/g,respectively. Then activated carbon from sewage sludge was used to adsorb alkaline-black. Decolorization by activated carbon from sewage sludge was similar to commercial activated carbon. The adsorption of alkaline-black followed Langmuir isotherm. 目 录
