 在现今学校的规模不断扩大，学生数量急剧增加的同时，有关学生的各种信息量也成倍增长。面对庞大的信息量，需要有学生信息管理系统来提高学生管理工作的效率。通过这样的系统，可以做到信息的规范管理，科学统计和快速查询，从而减少管理方面的工作量。在些结合学校实际的需要，学生信息管理系统中主要包括用户登录和注册功能，用户和角色管理功能，老师信息管理功能，班级和年级管理功能，课程信息管理功能，学生信息管理功能，学生成绩管理功能等。是针对学校的特殊情况，符合学校各项事务实施操作流程的系统。
 本系统为用户提供强大的数据操纵功能，界面友好、使用简单方便，系统维护成本低。
